Matthew Ebenezer


Matt completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). He is currently pursuing his Master of Clinical Psychology at UniSQ.

As a Provisional Psychologist at CBT Professionals, Matt demonstrates a genuine commitment to supporting people on their path to mental well-being. He creates a safe, relaxed, and empathic space for clients to explore their unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. Matt has partnered with clients across the lifespan, offering support and guidance to individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, stress, trauma, and more.

Matt operates from an evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) framework in collaboration with each client and their specific needs and goals for therapy. In addition to his clinical skills, Matt brings a wealth of lived experience to his psychology practice, including extensive experience working in creative industries and business consulting. Matt has a particular interest in understanding the impacts of social media on the mental health of adolescents and adults.

Outside of work and studying, Matt enjoys playing the guitar and composing music.
