Sorcha is a registered psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Sorcha has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Griffith University. Sorcha has undertaken extensive training and practice in a number of evidence based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for anxiety and depression in children and adults, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Systemic Intervention, Narrative Therapy and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.
Sorcha has worked across both private and public sectors including the Department of Communities and Queensland Health. Sorcha has experience in the treatment of a range of clinical presentations including, parent-child relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
Sorcha’s adopts a strength-based approach to therapy. With the ultimate goal being to assist and empower individuals to achieve the changes that they want to make in their lives.
