Vicki completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Griffith University and a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland. Currently, Vicki is pursuing her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, demonstrating her commitment to furthering her knowledge and expertise in the field. Vicki also actively engages in professional development activities and research to enhance her skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in clinical psychology.

Vicki is keenly interested in adult therapy and assessment for children and adults. By focusing on adult therapy and assessment, Vicki can address various psychological concerns and provide comprehensive support to individuals across the lifespan.

Vicki has previously worked in the Department of Children, Youth Justice, and Multicultural Affairs, where she gained experience in child protection and welfare. Additionally, Vicki has worked as a provisional psychologist in a private practice, where she provided therapy services to children and adults. She has also worked as a provisional psychologist at a Non-Government Organisation in mental health and collaborated with interpreters to ensure effective communication and culturally sensitive care.

Vicki's therapeutic approach primarily incorporates Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These evidence-based modalities effectively address a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. By incorporating CBT and ACT, Vicki empowers her clients to develop effective coping strategies, challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and enhance their overall well-being. Vicki finds great satisfaction in witnessing her clients' growth and resilience as they actively participate in their own healing journey.

Outside of her professional endeavours, Vicki cherishes quality time spent with her family and pets. In particular, she enjoys engaging in family board game nights, although her family tire of her competitive streak! Vicki values her dedication to holistic well-being and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
