
Amber Hassall

Amber Marie Hassall is a dedicated Provisional Psychologist, currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at University of Southern Queensland. Amber holds an Honours Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), providing a strong foundation in psychological research and clinical practice. Amber has also earned an Advanced Diploma of Management (Business), giving her unique insights into the challenges of balancing professional and personal life.
Amber's Honours Thesis focused on attachment theory and its implications for self-sabotage, reflecting her deep interest in understanding how early relationships shape behaviours and mental health outcomes. Amber is particularly passionate about supporting individuals dealing with performance anxiety, burnout, stress, and has developed expertise in treating a variety of anxiety disorders, including Panic Disorders, Social Anxiety, Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and general stress.
Amber also serves as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, where she worked to improve relationships and empower individuals to create positive, meaningful connections. Her compassionate, evidence-based approach ensures that clients feel supported, understood, and encouraged throughout their therapeutic journey.
Having worked in corporate environments for over a decade, Amber understands firsthand the pressures of the corporate world and the toll it can take on mental health. Her personal experience navigating work-life balance and burnout gives her a unique perspective when supporting clients dealing with similar issues. Amber is committed to helping clients manage anxiety, regain balance, and enhance their overall well-being in a rapidly changing world.
In addition to her work in corporate psychology, Amber has a special interest in perinatal psychology. As a mother of two daughters, she draws on her own personal experiences to support new parents in overcoming anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges during the transition to parenthood. She works closely with new parents to foster connection, improve mental health, and navigate the ups and downs of this significant life change.
