Antonia is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar, with a Masters of Clinical Psychology (Post-Registration) and a Masters of Professional Psychology. She has been registered with AHPRA since 2017.
Antonia works with adults and young adults and has a broad range of experience in government and non-government mental health settings including: Employment Service Providers (ESPs) in the unemployment sector, and NDIS services in the disability sector. She has worked in Private Practice for 6 years.
Antonia is known for her approachable, caring and kind demeanor, as well as her passion for understanding individual concerns and experiences. She aims to support individuals not only to survive challenging life experiences, but to thrive and to move forwards towards achieving their goals. Antonia has experience in helping support people living with a broad range of clinical issues including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma reactions, stress, social difficulties, life transition issues, low self- esteem, relationship distress, low confidence, and more.
Antonia prefers to apply a Person-centred, Strengths-based approach in tailoring services to the person’s unique preferences, strengths and needs. She enjoys using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness and Compassion based therapies, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapy. She values utilising art and music where possible.
Antonia’s commitment extends beyond her client work. She is dedicated to maintaining a balanced lifestyle and preventing burnout, sustaining longevity in her career just as she advises her clients. She is a passionate musician and sportswoman in her personal life, the a women’s soccer team, and enjoys spending time at the beach and on vacation.
