Tim is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Tim has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sports Science) and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, both at the University of Sydney, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science at Bond University.
Prior to joining the CBT Professionals team, Tim worked in primary and high school settings across Sydney, supporting students and families through a wide variety of presentations. Additionally, Tim has experience working in private practices that focused on eating and body image concerns, and sports performance.
Tim develops strong relationships with his clients through his personable, authentic and compassionate approach. Tim is extremely passionate about improving the wellbeing of his clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, and is especially interested in anxiety, mood, eating and body image concerns. Tim utilises evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
In his free time, you will find Tim outdoors. Tim has been teaching himself to surf and loves spending time at the beach. Tim is a keen runner, as is his dog, Snoop, and loves all things sport especially cricket, golf and tennis. Tim has relocated from Sydney to the Gold Coast and is loving the outdoor lifestyle of the GC.
