Sarah Orr

I am a highly motivated generally registered psychologist whose special interest is in child and adolescent psychology and Autism Spectrum Disorder. In a previous role with Anglicare I facilitated programs in schools and I am currently trained in Fun Friends, Friends for life, Rage program and Triple P primary care and 123 Magic. I am also trained in medical hypnosis, which focuses on incorporating CBT processes with relaxation techniques. I have also completed a course in Play therapy, run by paradise kids who specialise in grief counselling. I work with CBT and ACT mainly. I have also worked at the Psychological Assessment Centre completing comprehensive assessments and writing reports for adults and children.

As a mother of an Autistic teen I have a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, having attended multiple seminars on the topic and working with both children on the spectrum and their parents.
