We offer six week coping skills training groups for our adult clients. These groups focus on building resilience to cope with life through teaching new psychological skills each week. Keeping in line with our values of providing services that are tailored to the individual needs or our clients, these groups are tailored to the needs of the group members, which are identified at the start of the group. Topics may include relaxation and mindfulness training, how to improve sleep and cope with stress, communication and relationship skills training, and skills to regulate emotions better.
Often these groups complement our patients individual treatments, however, they can also be a standalone treatment for building resilience and assisting in overcoming stress, depression, and anxiety.
