Trudy is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, AHPRA and a Clinical Family Therapist with the Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT). Trudy’s experience includes working within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service for many years with roles in the community and the hospital setting as Senior Psychologist. In both public and private mental health sectors Trudy has provided psychological support to both adults and young people with their families.

Trudy can provide assessment and treatment of mental health needs such as depression, anxiety, trauma, school and work related concerns, adjustment issues and parent-child attachment relationship difficulties. Trudy is experienced with various therapeutic interventions, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Family Therapy.

Trudy is a certified Family Therapist and can assist families experiencing parenting stress, relationship breakdown and adjustments throughout the family lifecycle. Treatment from a Family Therapy perspective can assist with more effective and attuned communication, building more connected relationships and helping your family to work together in understanding and responding to the difficulties experienced for your child and family.

Trudy aims to provide a safe, supportive and reflective therapeutic space through her warm and thoughtful approach in order to encourage her clients to understand and work through their difficulties.
