Adrian completed his Bachelor of Psychology with Honours before completing his Doctor of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. As part of his post-graduate studies, Adrian conducted research investigating the effects of thought suppression within Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This research has been published, and presented at psychology conferences around the world. Adrian also facilitated the Gold Coast OCD Support Group from 2009 till 2012. Treating OCD continues into Adrian’s private practice, being one of his areas of special interest. Adrian has worked in private practice settings for the past 5 years, providing treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including; OCD, PTSD, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Phobias, Eating Disorders, and more. Adrian has externship experience at Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS), Disability Services Queensland (DSQ), and aged care facilities. Adrian also worked at GriffithUniversity providing tutoring services, and supervision for intern psychologists in post-graduate training programs.

Adrian provides psychotherapy from scientifically supported frameworks, and continues to remain educated regarding current research relating to the mental health problems that he treats. Adrian operates from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, and also utilises components of Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based therapies.

Adrian has lived on the Gold Coast for over a decade, and aims to assist people in overcoming difficulties to live more functional and rewarding lives.
